The 2014 International Champions Cup came to a close last night in Miami at Sun Life Stadium with a Manchester United victory over Liverpool FC, 3-1.

Wayne Rooney won player of the tournament, and was seen posing with the official 2014 ICC trophy, designed by ÉPICO Studios and Thomas Lyte, after the game:

The sterling silver trophy measures 50cm in height and rises with six encircling flutes from a round base where the eight competing club logos are engraved on the sterling silver collar.

“After witnessing the success of last year’s inaugural edition of the International Championship Cup, we are excited to evolve with the tournament’s design of an iconic trophy for the world’s top clubs competing these last few weeks,” said Rich Levy, founder and creative director for ÉPICO Studios. “We love helping to build a precious piece of silverware for Relevent Sports that these clubs compete for, and we hope it gives them an edge in their select leagues.”

Now it's time to look forward to next year's ICC!

PHOTOS: ÉPICO Studios World Cup Trip In Photos

ÉPICO spent 17 days in Brasil during the 2014 FIFA World Cup. We saw many matches, took too many flights, and shared some amazing times with fellow American and International fùtbol fans, including a crazy night with Will Ferrell that went viral. Take a scroll to see some of our primary photos from the trip!

1. BRASIL WINS IN BELO

Brasil wins in penalty kicks in Belo Horizonte. A week later the "Minerazo" takes place here, where Brasil gets demolished by a very well disciplined Germany 7 to 1.

2. ARGENTINA WINS IN BRASILIA

Argentines, in swarms, cross the border and show presence in Brasil's capitol. Argentina wins 1 to 0 over Belgium + our view from our hotel!

3. MEXICO VS. CROATIA

Mexico starts to light it up on Croatia with a very heavy Mexican 12th man chanting their famous goal kick chant + watching the USA vs. Portugal game on the plane!

4. USA VS. GERMANY IN RECIFE

Photo of the tumultuous travel to the game (you may have seen on the news), and views from our great seats as USA lost to the World Cup Champions by a whole lot less that Brasil did weeks later.

5. GERMANY VS. GHANA IN FORTALEZA

Best back-and-forth match in the "Group of Death" finishes level at two apiece.

ÉPICO Studios was on-hand at the launch party to take-in the breathtaking, original collection of futbol art that Editor Robert Priest, Creative Director Grace Lee and the rest of the 8by8 team has published currently around the globe.

Some words from the 8by8 website:

The Eight by Eight World Cup Special Issue features 116 bold and beautiful pages about football’s most revered and celebrated competition. Issue 03 contains exclusive writing from some of the sport’s most acclaimed journalists and showcases striking photography, illustration, and infographics, to create an award-winning, vibrant, large-format package.

Here are some closeups of our favorite pieces and and moments from the party:

"I'm happy to say that the magazine now is in every Barnes & Noble across America," Editor Robert Priest said during his keynote speech. "As well as a lot of specialty stores around here (New York) AND in Europe AND in Asia. We're beginning to get the word out there and it's a lot to do with you so thank you. Grace and I want to thank our fabulous illustrators, writers, photographers, graphics people, copyeditors, editors, and also the subscribers that are here tonight. Thank you for coming out, supporting us, believing in us. We're going to do our best to move forward and make this a really successful magazine. Thank you."

It was a great time with wine, cheese, plenty of veggies to go around, and plenty of magazines to get your hands on. We wish our friends at 8by8 the greatest of success, and we look forward to all the future issues (and parties)!
